Disruption in supply of parts from China due to Covid-19, switch to new emission norms take a toll on passenger vehicle makers. The country’s largest carmaker Maruti Suzuki reported a decline of 2.3%, selling 133,702 units in February. Those of compact cars (Swift, Dzire, Tour S, Baleno, WagonR, Ignis, Celerio) fell 3.9% to 69,828 units.
