The telecom industry body COAI has rejected telecom regulator Trai's demand that talktime credit should be extended to all customers. It said that telcos have offered benefits worth over Rs 600 crore to low-income subscribers to stay connected during the lockdown, and termed extending it to all pre-paid customers as unjustified.
