Automobile sales, which were 26.3 million units in FY19, dropped 18% to 21.5 million units in the last fiscal year ended March 31, 2020. The volume for FY21 could fall further, as significant business was lost during the first quarter because of the lockdown and demand downturn, Jain said, while addressing an online press conference.
