Qualcomm has built a lot of the foundational technology that our wireless, digital world is based on. This dominance has been made possible partly by the extraordinary amount of R&D the company does in India. Its 10,000 employees across centres in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai and Noida account for about a quarter of the total Qualcomm workforce.
