As per the report, the shipments grew 23% YoY (year-over-year) to reach over 38 million units in Q1 2021, which is the highest ever first-quarter shipments. The report cites new launches, promotions, financial schemes, as well as pent-up demand coming from 2020 as key reasons that contributed to this record shipment.
