The company was able to achieve its target of 1 billion annual cost savings under Project Refocus within 9 months and it has increased its cost savings target to 1.4 billion now. The breakeven for JLR has been further reduced to 300,000 units annually compared to 400,000 units at the beginning of this year and 600,000 units in FY19.
