Teacher’s Day is celebrated every year on September 5 to acknowledge the critical role of teachers in the life of every student. The day also marks the birth anniversary of former India president and Bharat Ratna recipient Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. He was born on September 5, 1888.
