The tractor industry in India is not expecting a dip in sales despite concerns of another El Niño weather phenomenon, which might cause droughts and affect agriculture output. Executives said there had been historically little correlation between tractor industry volume and below normal levels of rainfall. India's official forecaster, the India Meteorological Department, has forecast the southwest monsoon will be "normal", reducing anxiety further. Analysts are predicting low-single digit volume growth for tractors in the 2023-24 financial year.
