Maruti Suzuki India reported a 4 per cent decline in total sales for August, with 1,81,782 units sold compared to 1,89,082 units the previous year. Domestic passenger vehicle sales fell 8 per cent. Exports increased to 26,003 units from 24,614 units. Sales of mini and compact cars also saw a decline.
