Kia keeps faith in SUVs, airs doubts about policy shifts

Kia India plans to enhance its market presence by launching a new EV and a sub-four metre compact SUV in 2025, aiming to achieve a volume of 430,000 units by 2030. Despite available hybrid technology, policy uncertainties hinder its introduction in India. Sales of EVs have also been softer than expected.
