Xiaomi says that a new Redmi device will launch in India on August 4. The launch event will begin at 12pm (noon) IST. Based on the teaser, it looks to be the Redmi 9, given that the Prime reflection shows the letters ‘Nine’. The phone is also being teased on Amazon India, hinting that it may go on sale during the Amazon Prime Day sale.
