Hyundai may return to peak volumes in 2-3 years, says MD

In 2018, just before India sought to skip a stage-gated emissions goalpost and implement stricter norms, the industry had sold 3.39 million units locally. While passenger vehicle sales have rebounded lately, wholesale volumes in FY21 could still shrink in double digits due to the Covid-induced lockdown.
