Passenger vehicle sales rise for sixth straight month, up 11% in January

According to data available with industry body Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM), as many as 276,554 passenger vehicles were sold last month, which is an increase of 11.14% over 248,840 units sold in the year-ago period.
