Amazon raises cost of Prime service by up to 43% in UK, Europe

In an email to customers blaming "increased inflation and operating costs" for the hike, the e-commerce giant said that its annual Prime subscription will jump 20 percent in the UK from 79 percent to 95 percent from September 15.
