Google is reportedly working on introducing root certificates to be synced via Google Play Services on Android 14 instead of the current mechanism that requires full system updates to be made for root certificates to be updated. The development was spotted by Mishaal Rehman and suggested that the move could have been triggered by Google's fallout with TrustCor.
