Microsoft has launched an AI-powered cybersecurity assistant called Security Copilot to help analysts respond to threats by analysing and summarising data using OpenAI's GPT-4 generative AI model. The tool, which integrates with Microsoft Security products, delivers reports on data breaches and other security issues in a prompt box format. Security Copilot will continually learn and improve to ensure security teams are operating with the latest knowledge of attackers, according to Microsoft.
