Tata Motors reported a 2% increase in its domestic vehicle sales in September, with passenger vehicle sales down by 6%. However, electric vehicle sales, both domestically and internationally, saw significant growth of 57%. The company's passenger vehicle sales in Q2 FY24 were slightly lower than the same period last year, but its EV business continued to show strong momentum with a growth of about 55% year-on-year.
