Tata Motors's Punch overtook Maruti Suzuki's WagonR as India's top-selling car between January and July 2024. The Punch's rise is attributed to its positioning as a micro SUV and its diversified fuel options, including electric and CNG. In July, Hyundai Creta surpassed Punch, which dropped to fourth place in sales rankings.
