Carmakers and dealers are grappling with inventory levels amid slowing demand in India. The Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA) claims that their members carry stock equivalent to over two months of sales, while carmakers argue it's about half that. FADA has written to the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM) twice in less than two months, protesting at stock being dumped on dealers.
