Ford Motor takes a U-turn, to make in India and export

Ford Motor is set to re-enter the Indian market after a three-year hiatus. The company plans to repurpose its Chennai plant to manufacture cars for export, as part of its Ford+ growth plan. This move follows discussions with Tamil Nadu officials and aims to leverage local manufacturing expertise for global markets.
