Goodyear looks to sell India farm tyres biz for Rs 2,500 crore

Goodyear Tire & Rubber is considering selling its Indian farm tyre business after previously divesting its OTR business to Yokohama. The strategic review values the farm tyre division, a market leader with a 50% share, at ₹2,500-2,700 crore. This move is part of a larger portfolio optimisation effort driven by activist shareholder Elliott, aiming to streamline operations and cut costs.
