India's top auto makers face market share decline as competition intensifies in FY25

India's leading passenger vehicle and two-wheeler manufacturers experienced market share declines in FY25, reaching multi-year lows due to increased competition. Maruti Suzuki and Hyundai's shares in the PV segment fell to 12-year lows, while Hero MotoCorp's share also dropped significantly. Mahindra & Mahindra and Toyota Kirloskar bucked the trend, posting gains amid sluggish market conditions.
