OmniVision OV50X has been launched as the company's newest 1-inch CMOS sensor aimed at flagship smartphones. It is the successor to the OV50H sensor from 2023. The company claims that the OmniVision OV50X camera sensor enables "movie-grade" video recording, offering up to 8K HDR support for high-end smartphones.
