Nissan Motor and Foxconn are discussing a possible electric vehicle collaboration. This partnership might save Nissan's Oppama plant in Japan from closure. The Oppama plant employs around 3,900 workers. Producing Foxconn EVs at the plant's idle assembly lines could protect jobs. It may also preserve supplier networks. This is according to a Nikkei business daily report.
