India's two-wheeler market is increasingly favoring premium motorcycles, with a rise to 19% market share last fiscal from 14% in fiscal 2019. Crisil Intelligence projects this trend to continue, estimating a 22% share by 2030. Premium motorcycle sales have already surpassed pre-COVID levels, contrasting with a decline in economy motorcycle sales due to weak rural demand and price increases.
