Around 10 lakh passenger vehicles were sold in India during April to June. Maharashtra topped the sales charts. Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Karnataka and Haryana followed closely. Two-wheeler sales reached 46.75 lakh units, with Uttar Pradesh leading. Maharashtra also dominated commercial vehicle sales. Three-wheeler sales saw Uttar Pradesh in the lead. Passenger vehicle dispatches saw a marginal decline in July 2025.
