Hyundai Motor India Ltd has approved the elevation of Chief Operating Officer Tarun Garg as its new Managing Director and CEO, effective January 1, 2026. Garg, who previously held significant roles at Maruti Suzuki, will be the first Indian to lead the company's Indian arm. He will succeed Unsoo Kim, who is returning to South Korea.
