Your next car may 'talk' to nearby vehicles. Here's how it could help prevent crashes

India plans to mandate vehicle-to-vehicle communication technology for new vehicles. This system will allow cars to share vital data like speed and braking. Advanced Driver Assistance Systems will be complemented by this new communication capability. The technology aims to prevent accidents by providing early warnings to drivers. Implementation will occur in phases starting from October 2028.
