India's auto exports showed mixed trends in August 2026, impacted by regional logistical disruptions. Domestic demand remained robust across most vehicle segments, driving overall retail volumes higher. Passenger vehicle wholesale volumes saw significant year-on-year growth, supported by strong retail demand. Two-wheeler sales also recorded substantial growth, with electric variants surging significantly.
