Passenger vehicle dispatches in India saw a 4% increase in April, reaching 3,48,847 units, marking the highest-ever April sales. However, two-wheeler dispatches experienced a 17% decline to 14,58,784 units, attributed to a high base effect from the previous year. The industry has also transitioned to new OBD 2 regulations and rolled out E-20 compliant gasoline vehicles.
