Passenger vehicle dispatches in India experienced a 9% year-on-year decline in August, totaling 3,21,840 units, according to the Society of Indian Automobile Manufacturers (SIAM). However, the two-wheeler segment showed positive growth, with dispatches increasing by 7% to reach 18,33,921 units compared to the previous year's 17,11,662 units.
